The last Republican Governor we had in our state severely weakened our consumer protection laws and retailers/ businesses have been taking FULL advantage of it in the years since. If we could just get rid of the Republican majority in our Legislature we would not only get those protections back but new stronger ones, too.

However, the current method of the voters choosing the electors who choose the President, didnt come until the 1820s for most states. Most of The indiviual states changed how they choose the Electors, because citizens were leaving to new states, where they can be homeowners and vote in the Elections. 6-The individual states can change the rules on how Electors are chosen. For example, a state like Indiana, can choose to allocate the Electoral Votes, by rewarding votes to whomever wins a plurality in each Congressional District, with 2 additional votes for the state. OR Indiana could strip the power of choosing electors by the people AND allowing the Electors to be chosen by the state legislators. 7-The Founding Fathers didnt want the Congress to choose the President, for fear of a President becoming a puppet of the Congress. At the same time, they feared the citizens voting directly. The. State Legislatures choosing the President was a suitable compromise. Theyre likely to know more of the candidates for high office, than the average citizen. 8-The Founders didnt believe that there would be political parties, with just 2 main candidates. They believed that there would be multiple candidates, who are independents, and that the Presidential Elections would likely be resolved in the House.

I have a question for Mr Poloncarz. Does the Erie County DA have a relative named Adam? I sure didn't think so but how else can you explain the Amherst Police withholding a police report for 54 days and prosecuting a never arrested before 68 year old ex-engineer and not using MJ Peterson security camera video to arrest Adam for filing a false police report when he had me arrested based on his lie alone. Also, please explain how he can call the police and tell them there was loud screaming and yelling and people banging on the walls coming from my apartment while i was in bed alone and the tv was not even on. I have a recording of the police call. I even provided lots of video to the Amherst Police since i now have cameras in every room of my apartment because i have become so paranoid living in a apartment building with so many mentally ill tenants. How can you explain the at least 75 fake welfare calls for him that the Amherst Police also seemed to try and blame on me. As usual you all want to just sweep it under the carpet for some reason. You should investigate MJ Peterson for not using their security cameras to keep a 68 year old 18 year tenant safe from other residents. A 6 month tenant with a unreal amount of mental welfare calls lied to the Amherst Police to get me arrested. If MJ Peterson would have used their video to protect me i would have been saved from a lot of pain and suffering and the person that places fake calls to the Amherst Police would no longer be down the hall from me where i am in fear of his power with the police 24 hours a day.
